Technical Support Engineer at HP


"Technical Support engineer is responsible for providing technical support to HP customers. He/She will be required to work in shifts and can be aligned to any of these geographies:



1. AME ( America )
2. UK&I ( United Kingdom & Ireland )
3. RSA ( Republic of South Africa )
4. INDIA
5.SEA/SPR (Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand).

Location : Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, madurai, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Pune, Mangalore,
Experience : Fresher
Qualification : Any Graduates



Key Responsibilities:
Generally responsible for resolving operating system / Hardware (Desktops/Notebooks) & Network related issues.
Expected to follow the Work Instructions as per geography to meet operational metrics.
Expected to provide E2E support to customers for better customer experience.
Take calls from Global customers and initiate the right response to them, positively and professionally
Deal with a wide range of products using a powerful information database
Provide remote solutions to problems, probe problems and explain the solution in such a way that non-technical users understand.
Graduate in any discipline ( BE/ BTech/ MCA, MSc, BSc, BCA, etc )Only for 2012 Batch.
Skills & Knowledge:
Technical Support Engineer should be well versed with operating systems and Hardware Components. He /She should upgrade technical skills with changing technology and should acquire technical certifications as per the business & career development.
