"IBM POWER Processor architecture and performance group is looking for a professional hire to work with a group of highly qualified and talented engineers responsible for delivering cutting edge server performance.
The group is widely regarded as the best performance team in the industry and offers tremendous opportunities in influencing future processor memory subsystem, IO and accelerator design along with prospects to generate a volume of high value patents.
This is a high visibility role with responsibility to lead and deliver a complete end to end function including the Architecture, design, verification , software tools and documentation for hardware performance monitoring and analysis features.

The candidate must hold an undergraduate degree, preferably a graduate degree, in the field of Computer Science and Engineering; must be a skilled programmer (C, C++, etc.) and be fluent in the use of scripting languages (perl, python, etc.). Must be familiar with computer architecture and principles of chip and logic designs, performance benchmarking, and logic verification. Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
